The unseasonally cool weather this April did not discourage the second-grade classes from this year’s visits to the Deacon’s House.
The annual tradition for a collaboration between the Madison Historical Society and the Deacon John Grave House to introduce young people to life in the early days in Madison proved a success again.

Along with brief tours of the house and its interior features, the students and accompanying adults enjoyed the opportunity to try out colonial games on the house grounds.
