Document Collection

The Grave Foundation Collection includes 150 pages of original documents preserved by the family. The earliest dates from 1675 and the latest from 1895. The documents are currently preserved at the Charlotte L. Evarts Memorial Archives in Madison.

Among the documents are letters, Justice-of the-Peace records, deeds, records from the Revolutionary War period, tax records from 1764 and a portion of a 1795 journal of a voyage to the West Indies.
