On a georgeous Saturday evening, the first outdoor tavern night was held on the beautiful grounds of the Deacon John Grave House.
A large crowd sat at tables on the lawn to enjoy refreshments and a buffet followed by dessert, all deliciously prepared by board members.
But what they’d really come for were the terrific sounds from the duo of Rick and Jim, whose enthusiastic amplified renditions of Beatles and other sixties music were a delight to hear.
It was a magical evening.
Special thanks to our Tavern Keeper, Jennifer Hornyak and board members Betsey Borden, Henry Griggs, Natalie Evans, Terry Roberts, Pam Gallagher, Rick Royston, Liz Duffy, Carol Kinney, Eleanor Jones and Bill Brown for all their hard work in making this a great first summer tavern night.
